Day 01: LABUAN BAJO
ARRIVAL (LD).
Upon arrival at Komodo airport of Labuan Bajo on Flores Island, our local
guide will meet you then transfer to Hotel for checking in. Drive down
town for having lunch at Borobudur or Nirwana sea view restaurant.
Afternoon drive and hike up hill to Puncak Waringin to watch the golden
sunset above Labuan Bajo filled bay. Beautiful coastline village - filed
with hundreds of fishing boats and catamarans. Dinner serves at Borobudur
or Nirwana sea view restaurant. Stay overnight at Bajo Komodo Eco
Lodge or at New Bajo Beach Resort.
Day 02: LABUAN BAJO –
RINCA ISLAND – KOMODO ISLAND (BLD).
Early
morning drive down to harbor in 10 minutes
then embark on a fisherman’s wooden boat which has
been modified to enable for carrying tourist. The sailing journey to
Rinca Island is 3 hours. Arrive at Loh Buaya on Rinca Island take a 3
hours trekking inland with first stop at Forestry Conservation Post
for ID registration. Continue exploring the island’s wildlife
including the Komodo Dragons, the giant reptile on earth which
scientifically known as “Varanus Komodoensis” and to locals
as “ORA” (some of them usually stay around under the stage of
ranger’s houses), water buffalos, wild boar, deer, monkey, and various
colourful birds. In the afternoon hike down back to boat and sailing
towards Komodo Island. At Komodo Island, an opportunity to explore the Komodo village, experience the way of living of the fishermen and have
some talks. These local fisherme believe to the existence of the
Komodo Dragons as their ancestor -give offerings to the Dragons has become
part of their custom

DINNER
AND STAY OVERNIGHT ON BOARD
(on an open deck - well organized for your comfort) near by the Komodo
island bay.
Day 03: KOMODO ISLAND –
PINK BEACH – LABUAN BAJO (BLD).
After breakfast sail closer to Loh Liang station then take an hour mild
trekking to Banugulung, former feeding ground to see Komodo Dragons in the
wild. During our way into the “Jurassic
Park”
you will see colourful birds, wild boar, deer, and other natural livings.
Since feeding activity was stopped some years ago as to let the Komodo
Dragons going back into their natural habitants, the opportunity to see
them is depend on how far you go inland and how patient you wait.
On the way back from Banunggulung we will stop at Museum Komodo to
see various collections such as fossils of snake, dragon, wild horse,
water buffalo, fish of different types, and more.
Back to
boat for lunch and sailing to Pink Beach (=Pantai Merah). Here you
can spend sometime for snorkeling or
swimming in the clear
crystal water - a lot of beautiful coral reefs and colorful fishes
to explore beneath this sea, or just having a sun bathing on
beautiful white sandy beach. Sail back to Labuan Bajo. Dinner serves
at Nirwana sea view restaurant. Stay overnight at Bajo Komodo Eco
Lodge or at New Bajo Beach Resort.
Day 04: LABUAN BAJO –
DEPARTURE (B).
Depart
to Komodo airport for catching your flight to next destination.
